Sandy's Tomato Stew

6 tomatoes, skinned 1 large onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, pressed or chopped fine 1 green pepper, chopped

1 hot pepper (remove the seeds if you don’t want it too hot)

green pepper

turkey kielbasa (or chicken sausage)...alot if you like or a little for flavor

2 patty pan squash (chopped) Actually any veggie you like...corn is great! 1 teaspoon sea salt

The best way to remove the skin from tomatoes is to plunge them into hot water until they split. Care- fully remove them from the water and put them into a bowl until cool or into cold water to cool them. The skin comes right off after that. The mix the tomatoes with everything else into a stock pan and simmer for about an hour or crock pot on low for the day. This is great in the winter so freeze some!
